An enterprise switch is a high-performance networking device designed to connect, manage, and secure data traffic for large-scale business networks, including office campuses, data centers, and branch locations. Unlike consumer switches, they offer advanced security (ACLs, 802.1X), high port density, scalability (stacking), and redundancy to minimize downtime. It is engineered for high traffic loads with options for redundant power supplies. It also Support for VLANs (virtual LANs), Quality of Service (QoS) for traffic prioritization, and advanced security protocols to protect sensitive data. It often support "stacking," allowing multiple switches to act as one to expand network capacity. Many provide PoE to power devices like IP phones, security cameras, and wireless access points directly through the Ethernet cable. These switches are generally classified into three types based on their role: Access (connecting end-user devices), Aggregation (connecting access switches to the core), and Core (the backbone of the network).

FTTx Solutions

Fiber to the "x" (FTTx) refers to various broadband network architectures that use optical fiber for part or all of their last mile connectivity. The "x" signifies the fiber termination point, covering deployments like FTTH (Fiber to the Home) / FTTP (Fiber to the Premises), FTTB (Fiber to the Building/Business), FTTC (Fiber to the Curb), FTTN (Fiber to the Node), FTTA (Fiber to the Antenna), FTTR (Fiber to the Room), etc
