A PicOS® PoE+ switch is a high-performance network switch from FS.com that runs on the PicOS® network operating system. It delivers both data and up to 30W of power (IEEE 802.3at) per port to devices like IP cameras and Wi-Fi access points, featuring advanced management, automation via AmpCon™, and high-availability features. It is Built on an unmodified Debian Linux kernel, offering flexibility, programmability, and secure, open networking. They are compliant with IEEE 802.3at (and often 802.3af), delivering up to 30 watts per port for devices like VoIP phones, surveillance cameras, and APs. They are managed via the AmpCon™ platform, facilitating zero-touch provisioning, real-time monitoring, and automated lifecycle management. It is often designed with Broadcom chips, providing high-bandwidth switching (10G/25G/40G uplinks) and features like MLAG and EVPN for redundancy. They are ideal for enterprise campus, hotel, warehouse, and retail networks needing, secure, and easy-to-manage infrastructure.
