Copper testers and tools are devices and instruments used to install, verify, certify, and troubleshoot copper-based network cabling (twisted-pair, coax, Ethernet RJ45) and telecommunications infrastructure. They identify wiring faults, measure signal integrity, verify cable performance, and test Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality, ensuring optimal network performance. Verification Tester is a basic tool that checks for continuity, proper wiring (wiremap), and open/short circuits. Qualification tester assesses if existing cabling can support specific network speeds and technologies (e.g., 1000BASE-T, VoIP). Certification Tester can ensure that the installed cabling infrastructure complies with industry standards (TIA/ISO) and, if passed, confirms it supports high-speed data transmission. Cable+ Network Tester Combines cable testing with network connectivity troubleshooting (e.g., switch port detection, IP ping). Tone Generators/Probes are used to trace and locate specific cables within bundles or walls. Cable Crimpers are used for terminating RJ45 plugs onto cables. Punch Down Tools are used for inserting wires into jacks and patch panels (IDC). Cable Strippers/Cutters are used to remove outer jackets and cut cables to length. Remote IDs/Wiremappers are used for identifying different cables when testing. They are mainly used in network troubleshooting, Performance Testing, PoE Verification, Installation Support, etc.
